Music and Guardians of the Galaxy go hand-in-hand, and there’s no doubt about it. Now the game’s soundtrack is getting a new release!
Fans of the smash-hit Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game will now be able to enjoy its soundtrack on Vinyl as well. The announcement came recently from the makers of the title.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ goes the Vinyl way!
Since its debut last month, the Marvel title’s soundtrack has impressed everyone, along with its fantastic gameplay.
In a recent tweet on its official Twitter account, the makers announced that Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack is getting a Vinyl release. Mondo is the producer of the double-vinyl consisting of the game’s iconic music.
The first Disc will be a full-length album having all the songs from the fictitious Star-Lord band.
On the other hand, the second Disc has the original video game soundtrack by Richard Jacques. The BAFTA-nominated artist is also known for composing the Mass Effect music.
The vinyl version of the album is currently available on Mondo’s digital store. Orders will begin to ship from December.
It’s a well-known fact that music is in the DNA of Guardians of the Galaxy. From the very movie in 2014 to this date, everyone knows this.
Getting a vinyl release, however, is not a common thing these days since the format has lost its glory in recent years. Gradually there has been a little surge in the vinyl releases from major artists and titles.
Talking about the game album’s fictional musical band, then Star-Lord is a heavy metal group from the 80s. Steve Sczepkowski and Yohann Boudreault composed their debut album.
Developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix, GOTG has so far impressed all the critics as well as the players.
On Metacritic, it has a stellar rating of 81 based on 91 critic reviews. The user score is also phenomenal, with a rating of 8.7 based on 442 user reactions as of this writing.
