‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ won’t have a significant role in ‘Thor 4’

Fans may be excited for yet another big crossover of Guardians of the Galaxy with God of Thunder, but their part might not be huge in Thor 4.

According to Comicbook, Guardians of the Galaxy won’t have a significant role in Thor 4. It’s because all the Guardians franchise cast members have started leaving Australia just weeks after arriving. The country happens to be the third part of Chris Hemsworth’s series in the MCU.

‘Thor 4’ spoilers: Early movie details

Gradually, the actors like Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff have left Australia. Early rumors suggested the Guardians of the Galaxy members will have a significant role in Thor 4. But now it’s confirmed that it won’t be the case.

There is another big reason for believing this possibility. Due to cases of COVID-19, there are currently strict rules and regulations when it comes to international travel. And people can hardly go back and forth between two locations. And the restrictions apply to the Guardians actors as well. And thus, it’s doubtful that they will now return for more scenes with Chris Hemsworth.

Speaking of Thor 4 now, it’s also dealing with the pandemic situation. Thankfully the production is going on despite strict restrictions.

When it comes to the movie itself, the plot details are already known. The film will see Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster wielding Thor’s hammer Mjolnir. However, how it will happen will be interesting to watch out once the entry is eventually out.

Taika Waititi is directing the fourth installment after his blockbuster debut with the third part Ragnarok in 2017. He will try to create the same magic once again as he did three years ago.

New MCU projects coming in the future

The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for its next big saga like the past phases. And the current line-up of huge titles seems exciting as well. But there will be any delays in their arrival since Corona cases are increasing even in the new year.

However, keeping the pandemic aside, then the list of future MCU projects looks mammoth. After the current phase, four entry WandaVision, the next Disney Plus show is Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Upcoming movies include Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Eternals, Thor 4, Spider-Man 3, and Captain Marvel 2.

Then there are TV shows like Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Secret Invasion, Loki, Hawkeye, Armor Wars, Ironheart, and the Wakanda series. These future titles will surely make the fans go crazy, and there’s no doubt regarding that. The only thing standing in between their release and the viewers, at the moment, is the pandemic.
