Guerrilla Games just released a new PC patch, 1.10, for Horizon Zero Dawn players. It aimed at fixing all the remaining bugs and issues.
According to Eurogamer, the new Horizon Zero Dawn patch 1.10 aims to fix all remaining issues in the game. It will bring crash fixes and performance improvements in graphics.
However, the latest patch news also gives clues about the studio’s primary focus on the upcoming sequel.
Horizon Zero Dawn sequel is coming soon
While releasing the new 1.10 patch, Guerrilla Games mentioned shifting to less frequent updates for the PC version after this update. It was revealed in the blog post on the latest patch.
“As our team continues development on our upcoming title Horizon Forbidden West, we are shifting to less frequent updates for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC after this patch.”
So one thing is precise that the sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is coming soon. Because the developer just confirmed that indirectly. So the next installment will take less time in its release as well. As per current reports, it will arrive in the second half of 2021, on PS4 and PS5.
Fans are waiting anxiously for the next chapter in the new world, introduced in the first part in 2017. It received a lot of praise for its engaging gameplay and breathtaking visuals and graphics.
So, the hopes for the sequel are also high as it comes out later this year. But it also seems likely that Guerrilla Games will try to keep everything perfect. The first installment, upon its release, suffered through a lot of issues in performance. This time, the developer will likely refine all the things before the launch.
Upcoming video games in 2021
Meanwhile, gamers never settle down with just one option, especially when it comes to the vast universe of unique titles. And 2021 is going to be no different in that fashion. This year, just like 2020, is also filled with surprising entries and hugely awaited “AAA” titles.
Apart from Horizon Zero Dawn’s sequel, fans will look forward to other games like Resident Evil Village and Halo Infinite. But the list is quite extensive with the likes of Far Cry 6, Deathloop, The Medium, Gotham Knights, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Psychonauts 2.
Hitman 3 is already out now, so the iconic franchise’s die-hard followers can go for it.
But that’s just the beginning because there are many more arrivals scheduled to make their way to the stores like Returnal, Monster Hunter Rise, Gran Turismo 7, and Riders Republic.
