Gwen Stefani has, allegedly, kept her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, on a tight leash.
The No Doubt singer has, allegedly, banned Blake Shelton from drinking, partying, and hanging out with his friends. And the country musician doesn’t, allegedly, have any qualms with following his girlfriend’s strict rules.
Blake Shelton setting a good example to Gwen Stefani’s kids
According to National Enquirer, Shelton knows that he needs to set a good example for Stefani’s three children. As such, he’s trying to be the best stepdad that he could be to them.
“Blake was always the hardest-partying guy on the scene, but Gwen has tamed him. But we know why. He’s trying to show Gwen he can be a responsible person and a good husband and stepfather to her kids. Blake wants to be someone Gwen can be proud of,” the source said.
Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton buy their first home as a couple
In May, Stefani and Shelton also took their relationship to the next level when they purchased a $13 million property in California. The source said that this is a huge step for the couple.
However, it didn’t take Shelton very long to realize that he needs to make compromises so that his relationship would work.
“Gwen likes things done a certain way. She makes him take off his boots every time he walks through the door. She hates it when he leaves his keys on the counter. He has to eat with the family at very specific times,” the source said.
But even though these compromises can be challenging at times, Blake Shelton doesn’t have any issue with it. After all, he’s, allegedly, never been this happy in his entire life.
Did the couple tie the knot last year?
Rumors about Shelton and Stefani’s relationship have been rife throughout the past five years. In 2019, National Enquirer claimed that the couple has decided to tie the knot.
“Gwen and Blake are excitable and impulsive and ready to pull the trigger,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Stefani’s children were the ones that encouraged her to wed Shelton immediately.
Rumors debunked
But an entire year has passed, and the couple still hasn’t tied the knot. This proves that the tabloid’s claims are incorrect.
It is also untrue that Stefani banned Blake Shelton from drinking, partying, and hanging out with his friends. It is possible that this is Shelton’s choice. After all, he seems to be enjoying his time with his family at home.
