After an insider revealed Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton stopped talking about marriage; it looks they’re now ready for it. A new source claimed the couple is now ready to take their relationship to another level after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are finally getting married, that is when the coronavirus outbreak comes to an end. However, fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt as no one between the two confirms the news.
The wedding bells will finally ring soon
A source told Us Weekly that COVID-19 turns The Voice judges’ world upside down. Hence, they decided to tie the knot when all the coronavirus guidelines end.
“Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted,” the insider added.
Last year, the publication also broke the news that Gwen Stefani began the “formal process” to annul her marriage with Gavin Rossdale by Catholic Church officials. Us noted that religion has always been of extreme importance for her.
However, when the COVID-19 occurs, the feelings of Blake Shelton’s girlfriend about getting married and the annulment changed. In the past, she has been very committed to getting the annulment, “no matter how long” it will take.
Now, the tipster revealed that the 50-year-old singer-songwriter wants to “press forward with marrying” the 43-year-old country singer.
“Gwen wants to have a ceremony and reception with their family and friends,” the source continued. “She didn’t wait this long to get married with family watching on Zoom.”
“It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile,” the insider added. “It could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision.”

The issue before their alleged decision to get married
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together for five years. Fans have been looking forward to their marriage, but it has yet to happen.
The news about their decision to get married come after Hollywood Life reported they put their engagement on hold.
“Towards the end of 2019, they have had many conversations about engagement and marriage and when it would happen,” a source told the publication. “But those conversations have stopped completely since they are focusing their attention on everything else that is going on in their lives.”
Their friends are also divided over the lack of talks about marriage and what it means for their relationship.
“[Some] family and friends now are thinking that when it comes to getting engaged that it will actually not happen,” the insider continued. “While others think the lack of discussion means something is bound to happen soon.”
Whether Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will tie the knot or not is remains to be seen. The two have yet to address the issue, so fans should be skeptical about it.
