Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton announced their engagement in October. The couple has been generous in sharing some details about their big day except their wedding date. Thus, many are wondering if they are already husband and wife.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton stepped out in California together Saturday. However, the Hollaback Girl singer sparked rumors that they already wed because she was photographed with another what seemed to be a wedding band.
In the photos obtained by Page Six, the couple was enjoying their date with her son, Apollo, 7. The No Doubt vocalist held a bottle of Gatorade with her left and many noticed that she was sporting a new ring next to her massive engagement sparkler.
However, it was unclear whether Shelton was also wearing a wedding band because his left hand was inside his pocket in the said picture. But in another shot, the couple can be seen sitting on the ground with the country singer holding his phone with both of his hands and he was visibly not wearing any ring.
Gossip Cop examined the report and did not debunk it. But it was also not sure about the real status of the couple whether Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are already married or not.
The rumor debunking site noted that there is no way of knowing the truth unless they announce it. It also noted that it’s possible that they indeed tied the knot secretly.
The couple has not addressed the secret wedding reports yet. However, the rumor-debunking site noted that they have been planning to wed next year.
Also, they are transparent about their wedding plans. They have been sharing about their plans after they announced their engagement.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been sharing several details about their wedding plans in their previous interview. Stefani said they wanted it to be very simple but fun.
The Rich Girl singer said it will not be a big event saying, “it’s not like the queen and king are getting married.” When it comes to their wedding guests, Stefani said their family will be there but not a lot of musicians.
Meanwhile, Shelton shared on The Tonight Show Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that the song they wanted for their first dance would be “If You Leave” from the “Pretty in Pink” soundtrack because they both loved it and are fond of the 80s.
