Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin remain the most favored couple of Hollywood when it comes to co-parenting.
But in reality, the Lifestyle guru and The Goop lab producer Paltrow disagrees with the fact. In the latest episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, while chatting with her longtime pal via video, the star admits that co-parenting with her former husband Chris Martin is harder than it looks.
When the host of the show Barrymore asked about the reason behind her successful “conscious uncoupling,” the star revealed that she wanted their kids not to be traumatized because of the divorce.
The Goop Lab producer also mentioned that she and her ex committed to prioritizing their children even if it gets complicated.
After ten years of marriage, the former couple bore two kids named Apple and Moses. However, the Coldplay frontman and the Iron Man actress announced their split in 2014.
Additionally, she describes one has to know that every relationship is 50/50 case. It doesn’t matter what or how you think you are wrong, or how bad you perceive the other person’s actions. Paltrow exclaimed:
“If you’re brave enough too take responsibility for your half and really look at your own garbage and your own trauma and how it’s presenting in the world and in your relationship, then there’s really somewhere to go and something to learn and something to heal. Also, you’re holding the other person in the sphere of humanity. Were all part good and part bad there’s no binary.”
As for the actress, she is happily married to Brad Falchuk since 2018.
Reportedly, both the families live within close distance to each other, as they only gather together for the holidays and birthday parties.
Paltrow also describes her relationships with Martin and Falchuk as a destiny, with her ex-husband meant to be the father of her children and that her current husband meant to be the person she would grow old with.
She further stated that conscious uncoupling helped them recognize that two different love can co-exist and nourish with each other.
