Haikyuu is one of the anime sports franchises which has attained extensive success. This title brings a sort of passion and excitement to devotees. Above all, it makes viewers fall in love with volleyball, and further instill a desire to play such sport.
Haikyuu enters the final arc
Unfortunately, it appears that there are just a few stories left to tell about the volleyball teams’ rivalry in Haikyuu. Earlier this year, Haikyuu’s manga entered its final arc. This took place after its creator Haruichi Furudate went on a one-week break to do some research.
As soon as the final arc kicked off, fans were instantly shocked with a lot of big revelations. This was because the series has flung itself several years into the future for its finale. There is no word on how long this arc will last. However, readers feel confident it will last through 2019 and into 2020.

Final arc features a huge time skip
The members of the Karasuno Volleyball team have already graduated from high school in the final arc. The arc’s first chapter revealed the members who went to college and those who decided to go for higher education.
While readers are glad to see the boys made it, they were upset to find out the Karasuno team never won Nationals despite their best efforts. However, fans were still delighted after discovering that the main cast of the series, Shouyou Hinata and Tobio Kageyama, have both pursued their volleyball career.
Final Arc witnesses Hinata and Kageyama rematch

Haikyuu’s chapter 196 ends an impressive set between the Jackals and the Adlers, and the Jackals are now up, two to one. Furthermore, the latest chapter reminded fans that the beloved series is about to end.
Atsumu Miya released a monologue that holds a heartbreaking double meaning for fans. Miya stated:
“Is there only one set left? or will there be two more? Whichever the case, it won’t be long before this party ends.”
As the character dropped this heart-wrenching line, fans are also wondering about how this battle will be settled. Throughout the series, Hinata and Kageyama have been dual protagonists. Hence, it is uncertain who will be proclaimed the victor in the end.
