What is the comics about?
The new Harley Quinn comics will follow the character’s return to her professional career as a therapist. It’s one of her side hustles because “a girl’s got to make a living.”
The official description says, “It’s hard out there for a freelancer! Looking to make some quick cash, Harley takes on odd jobs in her many wheelhouses…”
Also, for those who don’t know yet, Harley Quinn was Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel before she became devoted to the Joker. She was a psychiatric intern at Arkham Asylum.
And in this new comics, she will be sitting down behind the desk to work through trauma with some of DC’s villains. It’s not for any other cause other than just to make some money.
It’s also revealed that she will be doing some other side hustles too. She will take a sideline as a consultant for the Gotham Art Museum, using her unique skill set as an asset.
Head Shrink appears
The preview of the issue also reveals that a villain named Head Shrink will make an appearance.
He will come into Harley’s office and talk about his issue of wanting respect, to which the doctor diagnoses it as Narcissistic Personality Disorder with a splash of Inferiority Complex.
This makes it all the more mysterious as to who exactly will Harley be dealing with though since there’s The Thinker.
