Since the official announcement of a live-action adaptation, The Last of Us TV series has gained big hype and positive momentum.
After revealing its main cast, The Last of Us is slowly adding more actors. The newest members to come onboard are Jeffrey Pierce, Con O’Neill, and Murray Bartlett.
‘The Last of Us’ TV series details so far.
Following the partnership between PlayStation Productions and HBO, the live-action adaptation will finally come to life soon.
Earlier this year, it revealed The Mandalorian himself, Pedro Pascal will portray the character of Joel. On the other hand, Game of Thrones‘ Bella Ramsey will play Ellie.
Also, actress Merle Dandridge is playing Marlene while Nico Parker will be Sarah Miller, daughter of Joel.
Talking about the recent additions, Jeffrey Pierce, who voiced Tommy in the games, joined the cast. However, he won’t play the brother of Joel. Instead, he is playing a character named Perry.
Then there’s Con O’Neill, who will be playing Bill. Lastly, Murray Bartlett will portray Frank, who’s Bill’s partner.
Frank wasn’t seen in the TLOUS game, so it will be interesting to see him in the live-action series.
Among these new cast members, the fascinating character to watch out for will be Perry. He will be a brand new face in the upcoming TV show.
The HBO series is yet to receive an exact release date.

Possibilities of a threequel?
Fans are waiting for a live-action TV show. They are also hoping for any news on the third part of the franchise.
The ending of The Last of Us 2 shows a growing curiosity among the die-hard followers of the series.
The ending also made some people confused as it wasn’t a true culmination of the storyline. By the look of it, it seems like there’s still something left to be shown in another entry.
Interestingly, a few months back, makers of TLOUS2 revealed a draft for a threequel. But it didn’t proceed further as there was no indication from Sony; it owns Naughty Dog.
But since the news broke out regarding the draft for another installment, everyone has been excited about it.
The fans still want more of The Last of Us, no matter what.
What do you think about the possibilities of a third part? Are you also hoping for a threequel?
