Prince Harry recently marked his 36th birthday, and here’s how he and Meghan Markle celebrated the event.
Prince Harry held his birthday in California, where he moved in with his wife and son, Archie. Although there’s no known grand event that occurred, the couple celebrated his special day in the most heart-melting way.
The Sussexes’ generous donation
The Sussexes marked the occasion by giving a personal donation to CAMFED, a non-profit organization aiming to eliminate poverty in Africa by educating and empowering young girls.
After the couple started an online campaign to raise money for the cause, they donated $130,000 on top of the $129,000 they had raised, Elle noted.
“No better way to celebrate what really matters,” they said in a statement through CAMFED’s Twitter page. “Thank you to everyone who donated, Harry and Meghan.”
The firm announced all the donations it received would be enough to support 133 young African women. These girls can go through a year of technical and vocational training without worrying about anything.
The Cambridges greet Prince Harry
Meanwhile, Prince Harry received a lot of birthday greetings, including that of the Royal Family.
Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a photo of them while the Duke of Sussex sprinted away.
At the time, they were in a race to honor the London Marathon and their mental health organization, Heads Together.
“Wishing a very happy birthday to Prince Harry today!” they captioned the snap.

Prince Harry, Prince William’s relationship
Prince Harry and Meghan moved to the U.S. after they stepped down as senior royals. It started a talk, called Sandringham summit, to discuss the terms of their so-called Megxit.
It then gave birth to rumors that a rift between the two royal siblings ensued.
In an interview on True Royalty TV, Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie revealed the real deal about the two princes’ relationship.
He believed the real cause of the feud between the two was the “decision to go public with the road map to their new working model.”
“The statements weren’t discussed internally,” he said, per Express. “That’s really what caused the most amount of hurt to William because he wears two hats.”
He’s not just his brother, but he’s also the future king. With what Prince Harry did, he believed it damaged the Royal Family’s reputation.
“That it put family business out into the public domain when it should’ve been discussed privately,” Scobie continued. “There was a lot of hurt there that continues to this day.”
But with Prince William and Kate’s recent post, it seemed like they were on friendly terms with Prince Harry.
