Here’s how to get the ‘Fortnite’ ‘Rocket League’ cosmetics

The Rocket League Llama-Rama event is currently ongoing on Fortnite and it comes with tons of exceptional prizes. Find out how you can obtain them.

With Epic Games acquiring Psyonix, it’s no wonder they would want to promote its project, Rocket League. After making the game free-to-play, Epic has also tied it in with their most popular game, Fortnite, through the Llama-Rama event.

From a marketing standpoint, promoting the game through Fortnite is the best way to go. With around 78.3 million active users, the game is definitely one of the most popular ones out there. Tying in Rocket League with the massively successful battle royale would introduce countless of people to the game.

The Llama-Rama event on Fortnite

The Llama-Rama event is basically Epic’s way of celebrating Rocket League becoming free-to-play. The Rocket League-Fortnite crossover event started on September 26 and shows no sign of letting up.

Through this event, players would be able to earn exclusive rewards for both titles through completing the in-game challenges on Rocket League.

Llama-Rama challenges on Rocket League and how to win them

The challenges on Rocket League don’t necessarily need much explaining. Furthermore, accomplishing them won’t be too impossible of a task. In fact, it’s not that hard at all.

The first challenge is to play an online match in any playlist and that’s really all one has to do. Once completed, players will receive the Flying Llama antenna on Rocket League and the Rocket League spray-on Fortnite.

Winning one online match in casual with the Llama Antenna is the second challenge. Again, this is self-explanatory. A player would just need to win a casual online match using the llama antenna obtained from the previous challenge. Players would be rewarded a Top Llama Topper on Rocket League and a Holodata Drop Contrail on Fortnite.

Using the Llama topper to get 5 goals, saves, or assists is the third challenge. The rewards are the Loot Llama Octane Decal on Rocket League and the Rocket League Emoticon on the battle royale game.

Afterward, players would have to use the Llama Octane Decal reward to win 5 online matches in any playlist. This is the fourth challenge. Once completed, players would receive the Llama wheels on Rocket League and the Rocket Groove Music Track on Fortnite.

Lastly, the fifth challenge is to score an MVP in any online match using the Llama wheels from the previous challenge. The rewards for this challenge on Rocket League will be a Battle Bus, Battle Balloon Antenna, Battle Bus Wheels, and Battle Bus Engine Audio.

On Fortnite, the rewards will be an octane RL Backbling and a style variant.

How to receive the rewards on Fortnite

In order to claim the rewards on Fortnite, one would have to download the Rocket League game of course. After accomplishing the tasks, one would just have to log into the battle royale game. The rewards will automatically be placed in a player’s Locker.

A player’s Epic Games account would link Fortnite and Rocket League together to provide simultaneous receiving of rewards.
