Recently, in Conan O’Brien’s show, Hollywood actress Mila Kunis announced that she is planning to release a comedic web cartoon series that would be accessible through NFT tickets.
She said she’s currently working on a web series entitled “Stoner Cats,” which, according to her, will be released in the coming weeks.
Kunis fans and comedy enthusiasts who are interested to watch the web series will be required to use tokens to gain access to the show.
More about Stoner Cats
Stoner Cats is an adult animated series that revolves around five house cats and their owner, Ms. Stoner. Each episode will run for five minutes and token purchases will be used to fund the comedy web series’ upcoming episodes.
Kunis’ production company, Orchard Farm, produced the series and the NFT side of things was handled by a crypto company called Head Club.
The actress declined to offer more details about the upcoming series, but she hinted that animators from “Toy Story 2”, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and “Spiderman” will be involved.
Apparently, the idea behind the web series came from the success of CryptoKitties, which was released in 2017.
Kunis’ venture into NFTs
In a separate interview, the actress shared that she started venturing into cryptocurrencies at the suggestion of her husband, Ashton Kutcher.
She revealed that at that time, she was still reluctant and had some doubts about cryptocurrencies.
But according to her, through the help of two women which she described as very knowledgeable in crypto, she has gained the confidence to dive in.
The Hollywood actress is widely recognized for her roles in “Family Guy” and “That 70’s Show.”
