Honor has just announced a duo of tablets aimed at those with a limited budget and looking for topnotch offerings. Dubbed as the Honor Tablet 6 and X6, the latest tablets have many common features, most of which can be found in their hardware and design.

For instance, both feature LCD panels are powered by the Kirin 710A chipset. The tablets also launch with Android 10 and are juiced up by a large 5,100mAh battery.

Honor Tablet 6 Specifications

The Honor Tablet 6 employs a larger 10.1-inch LCD screen, with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The device’s display also packs a 70% NTSC color gamut output.

On its rear, the phone goes traditional with a single 5MP camera. On its front, there is a 2MP front-facing snapper.

The new tablet’s software side is covered by Magic UI 3.1, based on the latest Android 10.0 OS. The Honor Tablet 6 supports the Honor Magic-Pencil stylus and comes pre-installed with the Huawei Education Center and Children’s Paradise apps.

The Honor Tablet 6 is offered in Wi-Fi only and LTE models. The former’s 3GB/32GB trim is priced at CNY 1,299, while the top-tier 4GB/128GB version of the latter retails for CNY 1,899. The first sale will be on July 28.

Honor X6 Specifications

The Honor X6 has a slightly smaller 9.7-inch LCD panel, with a resolution of 1,200 x 800 pixels. The screen also features a 60% NTSC color gamut output.

Like its sibling, the Honor X6 also has 3GB/4GB RAM offerings, but differs in the ROM department, with 32GB/64GB tiers. The latter is also expandable to up to 512GB via microSD card slot.

The same 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing camera features can also be found on the X6.

Other key features of the tablet include Bluetooth 5.1, Huawei Histen 6.1, and Magic Pencil support.

The Honor X6 is also en route to ship with Magic UI 3.1, based on Android 10. The said unit, akin to its sibling, also comes pre-installed with the aforementioned features for users who are dabbling in education or are meaning to use the tablets for reading or studying.
