On November 13, several media outlets divulged that tvN’s primary hit drama Hospital Playlist would kick off it’s filming for season 2 starting in early December.
It’s indeed good news for the tvN’s Hospital Playlist fans as the hit TV series is now gearing up for a comeback.
According to reports, Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeok Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Dae Myung decided to start filming in early December. Also, the production team and the entire cast has recently begun full-fledged preparations.
Season 2 is in the works
Director Shin Won Ho and his crew are said to have conducted meetings for several actors. This is to cast them for season 2’s small and big roles.
The 99s will be at the center of the story, just like the first season. However, new characters have been added.
The team is planning to finish all the preparations, including the casting, by the end of this month.

Furthermore, some characters from the first season will no longer appear in season 2. Kim Hoon Han, as reported earlier, has exited the show after season 1. He has recently been involved in a love triangle with Jo Jung Suk and Jeon Mi Do.
The hype continues in the next season
In the most-awaited season, the 99s band will, of course, be returning. Even after the show ended, the first actors are said to have practiced and strengthened their teamwork.
Kim Dae Myung recently shared the band member meet-ups. He said they are almost the same age, so they often share their concerns.
Finally, even if the exact schedules for the sequel’s premiere are yet to be decided, the production team aims to unveil season 2 within June next year at the latest. Furthermore, just like the first season, the show will be airing one new episode every week.
