How did Dane Cook pull off Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt reunion?

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt once again broke the internet with their virtual reunion. But, how did Dane Cook managed to pull off Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read with the former couple?

Dane Cook revealed the works he did to make the live table read possible with Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. In a talk on Better Together with Maria Menounos, he revealed these two A-list stars didn’t demand anything to do this project.

The pulling off of the virtual table read

By the looks of it, the 48-year-old actor didn’t break a sweat when he put together the virtual event.

“When I text [Jennifer], she was—I’m not trying to make it more fluffy—she could not have been more delightful, game, excited,” he said, per The News. “Again, I knew once those first few names were in there.”

So, when Pitt also came in, he knew the table read would happen.

“Once his team talked to him, I’m sure it was just like, ‘Here’s already in there so far,'” he continued. “There was no hesitation; there was no rules; there was no, nothing.”

Cook celebrated the fact there’s nothing they weren’t allowed to do.

“No! Zero. No drama,” he added. “They both locked in. What you saw was absolutely what we had hoped.”

The Good Luck Chuck star said it was a “nice engagement” between two big and incredibly talented stars in Hollywood.

“The dilemma was we wanted to do this back like in April, and I think it fell apart completely at least five times,” Cooke concluded. “There were life things happening in the world, and the protests started, and that put the pause on it. And then it just stopped.”

Pitt, Aniston’s cute table read scenes

Pitt and Aniston were joined by other A-list stars, like Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Shia LaBeouf, and John Legend. Jimmy Kimmel, Ray Liotta, Morgan Freeman, Sean Penn, and Henry Golding were also part of it.

Aniston didn’t hold anything back when she acted a flirty scene with Pitt. The Friends star played the role of Linda Barrett, while the 56-year-old actor took the character of Brad Hamilton.

“Hi Brad [Hamilton],” she said, per Hello! “You know how cute I always thought you were. You’re so sexy. Will you come to me?”

The former couple also showed their amicable relationship when they greeted each other before the table read began.

“Hi, Aniston,” he said. “Hi Pitt,” she replied.

“How you doing?” Pitt asked. “Good, honey. How are you doing?” she answered.

“I’m alright,” he responded.

The table read managed to raise $50,000 for CORE, which provides disaster relief and emergency response programs.
