American rapper and fashion designer Kanye West continues to make headlines, but the recent ones are not about his Presidential campaign.
Kanye West was on a Twitter rampage earlier, with tweets from him entailing that the Jordan Peele’s 2017 Get Out movie was based on him. As of this writing, the said tweets have since been deleted.
Kanye West Twitter episode
As Billboard has put it, “The Kanye West show is in full swing (and full view).” The I’ll Fly Away singer reportedly had a Twitter meltdown on Tuesday, July 21. According to the online publication, this all started a day after West’s “unusual debut political rally in South Carolina.”
The meltdown was first noted when the rapper tweeted nothing else but the YouTube video of Michael Jackson’s Black Or White music video.
Afterward, he spoke of “Norths mom,” which most likely is his wife, Kim Kardashian. He told everyone where he was and that he wants to be fetched. The tweet read, “I put my life on my God that Norths mom would never photograph her doing playboy and that’s on God I’m at the ranch … come and get me”
He then spoke of NBC, accusing the TV station of locking up Bill Cosby—a comedian who was sentenced to after sexual assault charges. He further said, in a separate tweet that “I love my wife My family must live next to me It’s not up to E or NBC anymore.”
Per Pop Culture, West made a lot of claims on his subsequent tweets, which some were referring to his wife Kim and mother-in-law Kris Jenner that he accused of trying “to get him locked up against his will.” That they’ve contacted a doctor to put him away.
Hence, the reference to the Get Out movie. West tweeted the following, “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday,” and “Everybody knows the movie get out is about me.”
How is the Get Out storyline related to West?
The Get Out movie is somewhat a horror film centering the story of an African-American named Chris who had a Caucasian girlfriend, Rose Armitage. The couple went to visit Rose’s parents over the weekend.
What he thought to be a normal meet-the-parents awkward moment, became a run-for-your-life situation after he found out the truth behind the Armitage family secret—“supplying” African-American bodies for the old and dying white folks in their cult.
It turns out, they’ve been luring people of color, such as Walter and Georgina, and hypnotizing them. Rose’s mother did the hypnotism, courtesy of her grandfather who perfected the procedure from years back.
Rose’s mother somehow sinks the consciousness of their victims into a “sunken place,” where they lose control of their physical body. Rose’s father, who is a neurosurgeon, finishes the job by transferring the brain, or a part of it, to the victim’s body.
TweakTown reports of West’s tweets from 2018, with one of them showing a picture of a narrow hall with a caption, “do this look like a sunken place.” West and Kim have been together since 2013.
Prior to the series of tweets, West’s presidential campaign reportedly included him speaking against abortion and how he was in the same situation where they were contemplating on not keeping their now-first born, North.
As mentioned, the tweets have since been deleted, but this did not stop everyone, most especially his fanbase, to be concerned. In fact, the hashtag “Pray for Ye” started trending on Twitter following West’s online frenzy.
