How to get better at ‘Fall Guys’ and grab those Crowns

Fall Guys is now out for the PlayStation 4 and PC, and it’s arguably an exciting take on the battle royale genre. Players are now flocking the game to get the crown at the end, but they are just discovering that it’s not that easy.

Each match of Fall Guys consists of 60 players, and only one winner will be determined. In the game’s last man standing format, becoming the last Fall Guy isn’t exactly easy. We’ve got a few tips to help players get a higher chance of winning the game.

The power of the dive

The dive is one of the most underused but definitely crucial tools in the arsenal of a Fall Guy. Diving does a lot of things. For starters, it can knock down some players who are hit with the dive. It can also be used to make it to the finish line first during the last-minute spring.

The most useful way to dive is by using it to avoid or surpass obstacles. For instance, in the Gate Crash minigame, players can use the dive to jump over hurdles just as it is about to block the way. This can give players a lot of advantage over others who failed to get across the gate.

Being second isn’t bad

It’s not always advisable to stay ahead of the competition in Fall Guys. By lagging behind for a few places, players can easily see the possible obstacles that are upfront. Depending on what mode it is, it’s better to stay at least a few places behind the leader. It’s mostly important for race type minigames.

Players should just remember to rush it out during the last spring before the finish line.

Never give up

As cliche as it sounds, players should never count themselves out of the race if they fall. With the way the game is set up, anyone can catch up to others and easily win the round. All it takes is a lot of luck to catch up to those ahead, so players should give it their all when they’re in the back end.

Fall Guys is now out for the PC and PlayStation 4. It’s also free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The game is a lot of fun, and there are a ton of cosmetics to wear. As such, players should follow these tips so that they can perform better for those precious Crowns in the game.
