The Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G is likely to be powered by MediaTek’s Helio 720 chip and a 4,200mAh battery, with support for 40W fast wired charging.
After a series of conflicting reports on the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus recently, the phone has finally surfaced in the product library of China Telecom. And as most phones that appear in the platform, the device has brought a listing with it, all rife with its key features, alongside its pricing and release date.
Three model variants in the pipeline
Accordingly, the Enjoy 20 Plus 5G will launch in three models, which are set to include 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB variants. They will also be priced at CNY 1,899, CNY 2,299, and CNY 2,499, respectively.
The device’s listing also revealed that it is scheduled to be announced in the market on September 3. The phone’s color variants were also outed – Magic Night Black, Emerald Green, Galaxy Silver, Sakura Snow, and Snow Clear Sky.
Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G rumored specs
Thanks to its previous leaks, the phone is certainly taking its shape now. Earlier, it was revealed that the device would arrive with a 6.63-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution and notch-less design.
The phone is also shown to be coming with a pop-up selfie snapper, housing a 16-megapixel right at the top-left frame. On its rear, the handset could sport a circular camera module, one that is found in 2019’s Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The setup might also feature 48MP + 8MP + 2MP camera sensors.
5G-enabled Dimensity 720 chipset, 4,200mAh battery, and USB Type-C
Under the hood, it is speculated that MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 chipset will power the Enjoy 20 Plus 5G. The SoC is one of the Taiwanese chipmaker’s latest budget-friendly offerings which is equipped with an integrated 5G modem. A 4,200mAh battery capacity with support for 40W fast wired charging is likewise listed.
Other key features that might debut with the handset are a fingerprint reader placed on its right side, a USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is also likely to arrive with the latest Android 10, but without Google Play Services.
While the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus 5G might be reserved for the Chinese market, the phone could also be announced with different monikers in other markets. Rumor has it that the phone could be rebranded as the Huawei Mate 40 Lite, the Huawei Y9a, and the Huawei P Smart Pro 2021.
Expect juicier details surrounding the Enjoy 20 Plus 5G’s pricing and availability in other markets to pop up soon as its launch is getting more imminent by the day.
