Hugh Jackman already said that he is done playing the role of Wolverine. However, the Marvel Cinematic Universe stars demand one more project with him.
Hugh Jackman grabbed an award from the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest career as a live-action superhero.
From 2000 to 2017, he successfully gave justice to Wolverine’s character. Unfortunately, he had to officially bid his goodbye in 2018.
Two years after he decided to leave his post, Marvel superhero actors expressed their desire to work with him.
Avengers and Wolverine’s collaboration
For years, several actors revealed that they want to be in one movie with Hugh Jackman. For instance, both Jackman and Ryan Reynolds teased their fans online that a collaboration would happen.
The Deadpool actor said that he badly wants to have a Deadpool-Wolverine flick.
Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo also wanted to appear on a big screen with him.
Per the Hulk star, he already told Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, that it is doable to work with Jackman.
“Kevin Feige just asked me last week if I had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk, and I said, ‘Yeah, I think there is still some stories to tell.’ And he said, ‘Why don’t you come in and tell me about them and we’ll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel Universe,” Ruffalo divulged. He suggested that he wants to have a Hulk vs. Wolverine scene.
Meanwhile, the actor himself shared the same sentiments during his interview with ScreenRant in February 2017.
Per the actor, having a movie with The Avengers would be too much to turn down.
This stirred rumors that the studio might be eyeing to cast Jackman again.

Marvel Studios trying to win him back?
After these talks emerged, another trustworthy information gave a hint about the possible project with Hugh Jackman again.
Per YouTuber Grace Randolph, Feige has been putting the possibility of having Jackman reprise his role up in the air.
She added that he aims to make him return to play Wolverine’s role one last time.
“He also would like to bring back Hugh Jackman for one last round as Wolverine,” Randolph said. “Now, again, this is right now Kevin Feige’s wish list. We’ll see what he can actually do.”
The next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been delayed. But it would surely give Feige more time to iron out his plans.
