Nintendo had a new Partner Showcase recently and as expected, one of the stars is Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. At the Nintendo Direct, fans are treated to some surprising news about the upcoming game.
Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity is only a few weeks away. Just before launch, Nintendo has made major reveals about the upcoming Musou game. Aside from Link, Zelda, and the other characters, Nintendo announced that there will be literal giants joining the game.
The Four Divine Beasts
During the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Nintendo announced that the Four Divine Beasts will be joining the game. Those who’ve played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will most likely be familiar with these giants.
In the game, the Four Divine Beasts are basically the protectors of Hyrule. Each of the beasts resides in one region of Hyrule. Players will have to go inside these beasts and cleanse them from within. Once done, they will aid in making Calamity Ganon weaker.
In Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, the Four Divine Beasts will be directly controlled by the player. Based on the trailer, the beasts themselves are more than capable of wreaking havoc in combat. Fans are hoping to get their hands on these beasts soon.

Demo now out
Aside from the major reveal, Nintendo also announced that a demo for the game is now available at the Nintendo eShop. This will allow players to fully experience the gameplay of the upcoming title. It’s not just a simple demo as it will tackle the first chapter of the game so in itself, it’s pretty lengthy.
Of course, players will be able to carry over their progress from the demo to the full game once it launches on Nov. 20.
So far, players are very positive about the game. According to early reviews, the game does feel like the standard Warriors game. However, there’s enough variety in combat and gameplay to make it feel like an entirely new experience. Those who are still curious about the game should definitely try this out as soon as possible.
Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity launches on Nov. 20 for the Nintendo Switch. The game has a demo out on the Nintendo eShop already. So far, reviews have been great for the title so players should expect an amazing release by next month. Hopefully, the game lives up to its hype.
