iPhone 12 and 12 Pro battery performance
Now the reason can be understood why early tests show comparatively the same battery results between the two.
Although the test conducted by Tom’s Guide recently showed that iPhone 12 Pro does last longer. So despite having a smaller capacity, it seems like the Pro version at least will turn out great in performance.
Interestingly, the Brazilian regulatory filings initially disclosed the batteries of the other two models as well! It happened earlier this month.
The 12 Mini is shown to have a 2,227 mAh battery. On the other hand, 12 Pro Max has the largest capacity with a 3,687 mAh battery.
Speaking of performance tests, then the 12 and 12 Pro have impressed most of the tech YouTubers.
They are doing good while on 4G, but in terms of 5G usage, things are not as smooth as expected.
It was recently revealed that both the newly released iPhones drain 20% faster if used on 5G constantly. On 4G, however, they run great without huge issues.
Early predictions on sales and reception
Coming onto the current hype and reactions of buyers, then they are positive. iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are selling quickly, depending on the regions.
China, unexpectedly, saw a huge surge in demand for 12 Pro upon the release. It was revealed a few days ago that iPhone users in the country want the new models.
It can be because 5G is mainstream in China now. Previously the iOS users there didn’t have an option to upgrade. But now that they have, they are opting for the new series.
In other countries, including the United States, 5G technology is not available on a wider level.
Despite that, old iPhone users decide to make an upgrade while some are still waiting and observing. It’s because the 12 Mini and 12 Pro Max are yet to be released.
The majority of the sales are seeing iPhone 12, the non-pro model, dominating in numbers. And it’s hard to say initially, but it will become the next iPhone 11 for Apple.
