The leaks have seemingly confirmed previous rumors related to the debut of an always-on display in the iPhone 13 line-up.
Similar to the Apple Watch and Android devices, now the iPhones will also have an always-on display. It’s according to the latest leak from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
The report says that iPhone 13 will have this new functionality in all four versions. The A15 Bionic processor will power them. As expected, it will be more powerful than last year’s A14.
When it comes to other rumors, then the upcoming model is said to have a bigger battery. And also the 120Hz refresh rate on the front display.
Coming back to the always-on feature, it will become possible due to the use of the LTPO panel. It is also found in the Apple Watch.
It implies that users will be able to check notifications without actually turning on the screen because the combination of LTPO and OLED technology will enable it to light up the display in a low capacity.
While the 5G is already here in the iPhone 12 line-up, it will be interesting to see what comes next in the iPhone 13.
