iPhone 13 models have same RAM as iPhone 12 series

As per Apple, the latest iPhone 13 might be the best yet with all its features, but it still has the same RAM as the last year’s line-up.

While praising the new looks and performance of the iPhone 13 models, Apple refrained from going too deep in the specifications.

The reason this year’s iPhones are not being way too different is that they are not. Instead, Apple has just added several important features while keeping the profile subtle.

The main specifications go, the iPhone 13 series has the same RAM capacity as the iPhone 12 line-up from 2020. While the non-Pro Mini and regular variant have 4GB of RAM, the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models have 6GB of RAM.

These details came out publicly thanks to the Apple XCode data, revealing that the RAM remains unchanged from last year.

Apple generally prevents itself from sharing any ‘technical detail’ during every iPhone event every year. But those who are curious can always check the information on the Xcode simulator, which is used for testing iPhone apps.

In 2020, too, a similar pattern revealed the RAM capacity in the iPhone 12 smartphones.

Moreover, the California tech giant didn’t mention much regarding its latest A15 Bionic chip as well. All it said was that it’s 50 percent more powerful than the A14 in the last generation. The 2021 CPU has advanced AI and Machine-Learning capabilities.

The iPhone 13 models have received more bands for faster and strong 5G service when it comes to connectivity.

Upcoming Apple news and products

Meanwhile, the iPhone maker currently has a lot of stuff to prepare for the coming months. Despite the excited Keynote 2021 event, there are still other rumored products to arrive soon.

To name a few, there is the third generation of AirPods TWS headphones. Strong speculations say that they will launch before the year’s end. Recent reports suggest that they will have a similar design to the AirPods Pro from 2019.

And the AirPods Pro themselves will witness an upgrade, possibly in 2022. Nothing much is known regarding them. But they are expected to have an enhanced Active Noise Cancellation alongside improved audio quality while listening.

Other vital products launching soon are the upcoming MacBook Pro models. Apple may either go for a streaming event or reveal them via the press release on its official website.

As for the latest iPhone 13 series, consumers can now pre-order all four versions. Delivery will be done by September 24.
