Irina Shayk and Kanye West have, allegedly, called it quits.
According to Life & Style, Irina Shayk lost interest in the rapper because he came on too strong. It didn’t also take her very long to find out just how clingy West is.
“Kanye came on too strong. He was always texting and calling Irina. Sometimes 10 times a day. It was a bit too much. Irina’s used to being independent and having her space, and Kanye wasn’t giving her that,” the source said.
Irina Shayk wants to cut ties with Kanye West
On top of this, Shayk doesn’t also want to involve herself in the drama that West is facing.
Even though the rapper is already divorced from Kim Kardashian, the exes will forever be tied to each other because of their kids.
“Drama follows that family everywhere. There’s no escape, and Irina can’t be bothered with all that. She and Kanye remain on speaking terms, but he’s pretty bummed out that it didn’t work out,” the source said.
Life & Style isn’t the only tabloid that claimed that Shayk and West’s relationship is finally over.
Irina Shayk can’t handle an intense relationship with Kanye West
Us Weekly also claimed that Bradley Cooper’s baby mama is having doubts about the rapper.
A source said that the A-listers have stopped talking as frequently as they used to. And Shayk wants to still hang out with West but in a less intense way.
“She thinks he’s wildly interesting to be around. But she isn’t ready for so many public appearances all over the world together,” the source said.
Rumors debunked
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Shayk and West’s relationship couldn’t be over because they aren’t dating.
Rumors about the two first circulated after they were spotted hanging out in public.
However, the sighting isn’t enough proof that the A-listers are an item.
As for West and Kardashian, it is true that the exes will forever be linked to each other. And this is something that Irina Shayk must understand because she also has a daughter with her ex, Cooper.
