Ivana Trump seemed to shade Melania Trump after calling the FLOTUS an “ex-wife” while talking about U.S. President Donald Trump.
Ivana Trump had an interview on Loose Women and asked if she ever brought up Melania Trump while talking to Donald Trump about their family. The businesswoman had a simple answer to the question but a very shady one.
Ivana said she didn’t pay any attention to his “ex-wives,” calling Melania an ex-wife.
Ivana never pays attention to Melania
Despite their divorce in 1992, Ivana and Donald still frequently talk to each other. They discuss things about their three children, Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr., and other political issues.
But, it looks like they are trying to avoid talking about his ex-wives, including Melania.
“I speak directly to Mr. President,” she said when the host asked if she ever talked to Melania, per HollywoodLife. “I don’t get involved with his ex-wives or his private life.”
Ivana didn’t even correct herself when Jane Moore reminded her Donald and Melania were still married. Ivana even seemed to suggest that Melania was “not a good First Lady.”
“She’s very quiet and doesn’t go to too many places,” she continued.
Questions about the marriage of Donald, Melania Trump
Questions about Donald and Melania’s marriage remain rampant until today. Things even worsen when the former model’s ex-best friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, called their union “transactional.”
In her newly-published book, Melania and Me, Wolkoff made several claims about the First Couple.
“Donald got arm candy,” she told BBC. “Melania got two dynamic decades. She was a young model; she didn’t have success yet.”
When she met Donald, she married him and became an American citizen. They then had a son, Barron Trump, and after ten years, she became the First Lady.
“I do believe it was a magic moment, and I also believe it was a made-for-TV moment,” Wolkoff revealed.
Melania’s spokeswoman shaded Ivana
Meanwhile, in an interview on Good Morning America in 2017, Ivana revealed she didn’t want to call Donald at the White House because Melania was there.
“I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife,” she said, per The Hill. “OK? I’m first lady.”
At the time, Ivana was promoting her book about raising three kids with Donald.
However, in a statement, Melania’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, revealed Ivana’s real intention.
“She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books,” Grisham explained. “There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex.”
Unfortunately, what she saw from Ivana Trump then was an “attention-seeking” woman who was making a “self-serving” noise.” Melania Trump, alternatively, launched her children wellness initiative, called Be Best, in 2018.
