Ivanka Trump is as “dumb as a brick,” according to her former colleague, Steve Bannon.
Ivanka Trump and Steve Bannon used to work together for President Donald Trump. However, Ivanka’s intelligence failed to impress the former campaign chief strategist.
The first daughter is allegedly dumb
Ivanka Trump works as the Advisor to the President for women’s issues. However, Bannon said she’s not really intelligent.
In 2018, he made an outrageous claim against Trump and his family. Bannon challenged Ivanka’s intelligence.
According to Michael Wolff in his book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, Bannon said Ivanka was “as dumb as a brick.”
Furthermore, he called Ivanka the “queen of leaks.” Bannon added that the POTUS’ daughter was a “fount of bad advice.”
Meanwhile, Bannon called Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, “immature.” Kushner is also a senior advisor to the President but for strategic planning.
Fire and Fury called into question
Wolff’s Fire and Fury book raised many questions. Some claimed that it contained reporting errors, rumors, and inaccuracies.
The book has a 4.2 rating on Amazon. However, it also received thousands of critical reviews. One reader said the book featured a multitude of criticisms for President Trump’s administration.
Apart from this, the details in the book were old news. Moreover, another found it disappointing because, for him, it was similar to gossip magazines.
Besides, many said that the book was boring. Meanwhile, another felt that the writer was “somewhat less than honest.” Wolff allegedly only cherry-picked things to support the claims against the Trumps.
Bannon had a falling-out with the Trumps
Days after Donald Trump won the presidency, he appointed Bannon, his top political adviser. However, Bannon made a mistake with the travel ban, which many considered extreme, Vox reported.
Consequently, it put the country into chaos and defined Trump’s presidency. The controversy overshadowed everything else the POTUS did.
Also, in his last few months, Bannon made enemies in the administration. His infamous conflict with Ivanka and Kushner even spilled out into the press.
As a consequence of Bannon’s explosive accusations against Trump and his family in Wolff’s book prompted the POTUS to react. In his statement, Trump denied that Bannon had something to do with him or his presidency.
“When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating 17 candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party,” Trump said.
