Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt remain good friends years after their divorce. Many are wondering what Aniston really thinks about claims that Brad Pitt cheated on her.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were among the A-list couples in Hollywood when they were still together. However, their marriage only lasted for five years and Showbiz CheatSheet revisited the Friends alum’s reaction to the cheating rumors.
Jennifer Aniston shocked after seeing Brangelina
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt married in 2000 and divorced five years later. Shortly after their split, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie visited Kenya.
Photos of Pitt and Jolie at a beach in Kenya with Maddox made headlines. Aniston admitted in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2005 that she was shocked when she saw their beach photos.
“The world was shocked, and I was shocked,” Aniston said.
However, she didn’t believe that Pitt really cheated on her. Aniston and Pitt have talked about the rumors about him and Jolie. She confronted him and he denied it.
“What we said was true as far as I knew. I choose to believe my husband,” Aniston said.
“At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything, but I would much rather choose to believe him.”
Angelina Jolie denied Brad Pitt affair rumors
Angelina Jolie also denied that she had an affair with Brad Pitt while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Jolie’s dad Jon Voight cheated on her mom when she was still a child.
The Maleficent star said that she couldn’t bring herself up to be the other woman.
“To be intimate with a married man, when my own father cheated on my mother, is not something I could forgive,” Jolie said in a previous interview.
“I could not could not look at myself in the mirror if I did that.”
Jen’s statement about Brangelina
Jennifer Aniston was also not happy when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie posed for a 60-page spread for W Magazine. Aniston said at the time that it was Pitt’s choice.
They were no longer together at the time. In fact, they were already divorced. However, The Morning Show star subtly shaded Pitt by saying that there was a missing sensitivity chip.
He knew Pitt would not intentionally rub something on her face. But she also knew that Pitt would just say it was art if confronted about his inconsiderate act.
Meanwhile, Aniston also did not like Jolie’s statement saying she was excited to go to work when she was filming with Pitt for Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The Murder Mystery actress boldly said it was “uncool” of Jolie to be speaking about those details. Aniston found it inappropriate because she and Pitt were still married at the time.
