Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have, allegedly, just accepted the fact that they will never get back together.
According to Us Weekly, it took Jennifer Aniston and Pitt years before they finally came to terms with the fact that they will always just be friends.
However, those close to the exes are struggling to accept that a relationship is no longer in the cards for Aniston and Pitt. After all, they believe that the A-listers have a unique and strong connection with each other.
“For both of them, it’s like, how do you possibly come anywhere close to that? Despite all the nostalgia, it was clear it wasn’t going to work. They call each other to shoot the breeze and share a laugh fairly often. They’re happy with their dynamic,” a source said.
Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt’s friends still rooting for them
But friends of Aniston and Pitt, allegedly, think that it’s a shame that the A-listers refused to rekindle their romance.
“As far as their friends are concerned, they feel it’s a real shame Brad and Jen can’t give each other another shot. But it’s just not in the cards right now, and it’s hard to see that changing any time soon,” the source said.
Jennifer Aniston ready to find love
The tabloid’s claims came on the heels of rumors that Aniston is ready to start dating again.
During a recent interview, the Friends star revealed that she feels ready to open her heart to someone again after being since for three years.
Rumors debunked
However, the fact that Aniston is ready for love doesn’t mean that she’s still interested in Pitt. And it’s not also true that the exes only realized that they couldn’t get back together recently.
Aniston and Pitt have been friends for years. And they have also been divorced since 2005 so it’s unlikely for them to still have feelings for each other.
In fact, even Jennifer Aniston previously said that there’s no awkwardness between her and her ex-husband. And they regularly talk to each other just like any two friends normally would.
