Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are, reportedly, adopting a baby girl and naming the child after their close pal George Clooney.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have been rumored to be back together years after their divorce. A tabloid also claimed that they were planning to start a family by adopting a baby.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s adoption plans
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt remain friends after their separation. Earlier this year, they were spotted having a moment at the SAGS Awards. Many immediately concluded that they were back together.
Life & Style claimed that Pitt and Aniston didn’t only rekindle their romance; they were also expanding their family through adoption.
“Starting a family of their own was always a dream of theirs that was never realized. Until now. They can’t wait to finally bring a baby – their baby – home. It’s a miracle,” a source said.
Naming the baby after George Clooney
The insider also claimed that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were considering to name their baby after their buddy, George Clooney.
The so-called source said Pitt’s Ocean’s Eleven co-star was very involved in rekindling his romance with Aniston. So, the couple felt it was just right to name their baby after him.
“They’ve picked a very simple and sweet name with a special meaning: Georgia,” the source continued.
“George feels invested in their relationship. He wants to see his pal Brad happy again, and that means one thing: Jennifer.”
Rumor debunked
Gossip Cop debunked all the claims above. The rumor-debunking site questioned the report because it alleged that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston already filled the paperwork. However, it failed to mention where the baby was being adopted.
Aniston and Pitt’s reps also issued a statement about the report and denied it.
“No one can actually believe this crap? It’s all made up,” Aniston’s rep said.
Meanwhile, Pitt’s rep also said there was no truth about the article.
Brad, Jennifer and George’s friendship
Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney worked together when medical drama ER popped on her hit NBC sitcom Friends.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Clooney also starred in multiple movies together, including Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen. The two actors have a long history together.
Clooney and Aniston remain good friends even after her split from Pitt. In fact, in 2006, when the actress attended Oscars for the first time, she had an affectionate reunion with Clooney on the red carpet.
The Murder Mystery star also joked about Clooney when Ellen DeGeneres asked about a potential Friends reunion years ago.
“Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything! Right? I mean, George Clooney got married…That’s like [proof] anything can happen,” Aniston explained.
Aniston’s humor only showed her close friendship with Pitt’s buddy.
