Jennifer Aniston loves designing houses
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jennifer Aniston and Amy Sedaris talk about the former’s passion and relationship with ex-husband, Justin Theroux.
During their conversation, Sedaris praised how Aniston transformed Theroux’s apartment in New York. She also expressed her appreciation for Aniston’s interest in building and history. So, she asked Brad Pitt’s ex if renovating stresses her.
“I love it. I’m getting antsy to do another project. It’s a hell of an expensive hobby, though. If I wasn’t acting, I would do that full-time,” Aniston said.
According to Aniston, she loves the process of seeing it, having the vision, and collecting the team of people who will execute her vision.
What Aniston said about building houses
Jennifer Aniston is very fond of building houses. She believed that it could affect a couple’s relationship.
“They say building houses can make or break a couple. I was so used to doing it on my own, and there were moments when I was like, ‘Don’t say no so fast,’” Aniston shared.
The actress also added that, when it comes to decorating with Justin Theroux, it wasn’t difficult. According to her, “he loved whatever I brought to him.”
Brad Pitt also loves building and designing homes
Just like Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt enjoys building and designing homes. In fact, in a previous interview, he spoke about his passion for architecture.
“I love that architecture is this huge art piece you can be inside. I believe it lifts your soul and affects your mindset,” Pitt said about the activity.
According to Lars Krückerberg, practice principal at GRAFT, Pitt is known for his extensive collection of modern design. Moreover, the actor could furnish a museum.
Pitt started Make It Right Foundation
Due to Brad Pitt’s love for building homes, he started the Make It Right Foundation. The charity pledged to repair the homes at the Lower 9th Ward after the people lost everything they had due to Hurricane Katrina.
However, Pitt’s foundation was questioned because the residents were not happy with their new homes. Several complained of mold and collapsing structures, electrical fires, and gas leaks, NBC News reported.
Despite the complaint the receive, Pitt stood by his team. The actor’s spokesperson released a statement saying that he had “total faith” in his team. Furthermore, he intends to keep his promise.
“I made a promise to the folks of the Lower Ninth to help them rebuild — it is a promise I intend to keep,” Pitt said.
