It seems like destiny still has plans of keeping Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt in each other’s lives.

Recently, the former flames appeared on the coming-of-age teenage dramedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read.

Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt ‘were nervous’

The celebrity-filled Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read sent viewers into euphoria.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt recreated the iconic topless scene on the event, and it was later reported that they were “a little nervous” during the event, as nothing was “off-limits.”

A source told Us Weekly that though they were nervous about playing the roles originated by Judge Reinhold and Phoebe Cates, the “Friends” alum and the “Ad Astra” star, reportedly, “enjoyed themselves” during the special.

The source added that it used to bug them how everyone wanted them to get back together, but these days, Jennifer and Brad “laugh it off.”

Having each other’s backs

“The truth is they have each other’s backs,” the source revealed. “They constantly bounce ideas off each other and share happy news when they have it.”

Even after so many years, Jennifer and Brad always had such “natural, easy energy together.”

Additionally, the source claims that the former couple is hoping to work together again in the future.

“They don’t want to milk this ‘friendly exes’ dynamic they’ve got going on too much. They’re both very mindful of that.”

Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt didn’t hesitate

Dane Cook, who put together the table read for charity, told the Maria Menounos Better Together podcast how he invited these A-list celebrities to do the virtual event with him.

‘When I text Jennifer, she was, I’m not trying to make it more fluffy, she could not have been more delightful, game, excited.”

The comedian shared that Jennifer first agreed to do the virtual reading, and then Brad followed.

When Brad Pitt’s team told the actor which stars were involved, “There was no hesitation.”

Dane gushed about how it was easy to work with these two megastars and how they were dedicated to the project.

He explained, “What you saw was absolutely what we had hoped. Which was just nice engagement between two massive, incredibly talented people.”
