Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt may have called it quits more than a decade ago, but the 56-year-old actor will remain to be the love of her life.

It has been 15 years since Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have finalized their divorce, but fans are still shipping for the two. Although reconciliation may never happen, it looks like they will remain amicable.

Aniston confessed love for Pitt

In an unearthed interview, via The News, Aniston revealed that “she would still love Pitt for the rest of her life” despite their split.

The Friends star sweetly talked about her past romance with Angelina Jolie’s ex. Here, she admitted their most treasured moments were the ones they tried to hide from the press.

“I still feel so lucky to have experienced it,” she said. “I wouldn’t know what I know now if I hadn’t been married to Brad.”

The 51-year-old actress then confessed her love for her former husband.

“I love Brad; I really love him. I will love him for the rest of my life,” she continued. “He’s a fantastic man. I don’t regret any of it, and I’m not going to beat myself up about it.”

In their seven-year romance, Aniston shared those years were “very intense.” They taught each other a lot, from healing to the fun things.

They, too, helped each other through much different stuff.

“I really value that. It was a beautiful, complicated relationship,” she added.

A love story for the books

Pitt and Aniston’s love story is one for the books. They had been together for a total of seven years, five of which was their marriage.

They continued to have an A-list relationship despite their divorce in 2005.

Everything they did was iconic – their $1-million wedding, his guest appearance on Friends, and even their 2020 reunion.

So, how everything started between the two?

Pitt and Aniston first met in 1994. However, it took them four years before they started dating.

After a year, the Ad Astra popped the question, and of course, she answered with a big yes. In 2000, they tied the knot.

Sadly, after five years of marriage, they broke a lot of hearts when they announced their separation.

They then went on their separate lives. Pitt dated Jolie, while Aniston wedded Justin Theroux.

Their respective marriages also came to an end. As they are now both single, fans started shipping for the two.
