Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox faked their connection during 'Friends' reunion: Rumor

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and their co-stars, allegedly, faked their connection and friendship during the Friends reunion.

According to OK! magazine, there was awkwardness on the set of the hit sitcom when Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow came in.

“There was some awkwardness. Jen and Courteney are BFFs in real life, but they don’t hang out with David, Matt, or Matthew, or even Lisa very often, so it was a little weird being around them in this setting,” the source said.

Courteney Cox tried to save ‘Friends’ reunion

The insider claimed that Cox tried her best to be social about the situation.

“She’s the social one of the group and always has been, so she seemed to be having the most fun. Matthew was the most uncomfortable, and David stayed true to form and looked like he just wanted to do his job and get out of there,” the source said.

According to the source, Aniston and her co-stars were also upset with the heads’ decision to cast a lot of guest stars for the reunion. And most of them didn’t have any ties to the show.

More specifically, the insider claimed that the Friends cast members were not thrilled to see Justin Bieber on the show. The singer was just a baby when the sitcom aired so he had no connection to it.

However, it is important to note that the “Baby” singer is a fan of the program.

“But they had to bite their tongues and roll with it. They’re getting paid a load of money for this – reportedly up to $4 million each,” the source said.

Jennifer Aniston, ‘Friends’ rumors debunked

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It was evident that Aniston and her co-stars have a close relationship.

Even the actress confirmed that she and her co-stars have stayed in touch throughout the past couple of years since Friends aired its final episode in 2004.

It is also not true that Jennifer Aniston and her co-stars were upset to see some celebrities that didn’t have a connection to the show appear in the Friends reunion.
