Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel at the Emmy stage
Jimmy Kimmel was wearing gloves while holding the envelope. The Friends alum stood behind him a few feet away to maintain social distancing.
The host sanitized the winner’s envelope by spraying it and lighting it on fire. Aniston said Kimmel’s way was “extreme,” Evening Standard reported.
“You never know where these accountants’ hands have been. Now it goes into the basket and we light it up,” he said.
The pair waited five seconds for “the germs to burn off.” Aniston decided to extinguish the envelope, but it only ignites, leaving the two shocked on stage. The Murder Mystery star had to blast the extinguisher five times to put out the flame.
Jokes usually are jokes to comedians and those with a sense of humor. It's ok to try and make people laugh still, unless that's been taken from us at well, don't know, haven't gotten the memo. I know that I appreciate the effort, we could all use a laugh

Aniston staged a mini Friends reunion
In another clip, Jimmy Kimmel asked to see Jennifer Aniston make sure she was home safe because her category was coming up. Aniston was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Morning Show.
The We’re the Millers star left the stadium after presenting the award and went home. Meanwhile, Kimmel stayed because he was hosting the event.
When the camera showed Aniston, her Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow joined her on-screen. Jason Bateman was also around while the trio joked that they were living together.
However, the reunion was short-lived as the trio had to leave because their dinner was served.
