Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have separated over a decade ago. However, some fans are still hoping that they would get back together. The Morning Show host made a move that only intensified their rumored reunion.
Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram in October 2019. The Friends alum beat Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in gaining over a million followers in just an hour or so.
Back in January, Aniston and Brad Pitt attended the Golden Globe Awards. Pitt won an award for his performance in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
While he was on stage, he joked about bringing her mom. However, he eventually decided against the idea because any woman seen with him ends up as his rumored date.
The camera then pointed to Aniston, who was smiling at her ex-husband’s joke. They didn’t approach each other that night.
However, British photographer Alexi Lubomirski shared a snap of Pitt to congratulate him on his victory. Many were surprised but pleased when they noticed Aniston liking the post.
“Never not going to be here for Jennifer Aniston liking Brad Pitt content,” one wrote on Twitter.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt also reunited at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the same month. Unlike their reunion at the Golden Globes, the exes approached each other.
Aniston and Pitt’s SAG photos made headlines because they appeared very sweet and close to each other. One snap featured the Friends alum placing a hand on Pitt’s chest. Another shot featured Pitt holding Aniston’s wrist as she appeared to walk away from him.
According to an insider, Pitt and Aniston’s public reunion did not sit well with his second ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
“Angelina won’t be happy – it feels hugely disrespectful to her to make a joke out of their marriage problems in front of a room full of their peers. She’d never do that to him,” a source told The Sun.
“And Brad’s very public reunion with Jen will also feel hurtful to her – it’s almost like, throughout their marriage, the public seemed to want Brad to get back with Jen. I think she’ll feel very disrespected by Brad’s speech.”
