Jennifer Aniston wants to spend more time with Brad after sitcom
Jennifer Aniston became a household name thanks to Friends. It ended after a decade in 2004 and at the time, she was excited to be with her real-life leading man, Brad Pitt.
Unfortunately, it didn’t happen because when Friends wrapped up, he also started filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Angelina Jolie. According to sources, he fell in love with Jolie and became emotionally unavailable to his wife, Aniston, at the time.
“I’m sad it’s the end, but I’m so excited about the future. It means spending more time with my husband and who knows, maybe a family one day,” Aniston said as quoted by The Sunday Mail.
“It’s going to be a very different kind of life for me.”
Aniston was right that she would have a different kind of life after Friends. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what she expected.
Instead of spending more time with Pitt, he allegedly fell for Jolie and she was left to pick up her broken pieces. Nevertheless, Aniston continued working through a painful divorce and became an even more successful actress.
Aniston confirmed baby plans in previous interview
In 2004, Jennifer Aniston sat for an interview with Guardian. When asked about having babies, she gave a straight affirmative response.
“It’s time. It’s time. You know, I think you can work with a baby, I think you can work pregnant, I think you can do all of it. So I’m just truly looking forward to slowing down,” Aniston said.
The Murder Mystery star added that she was looking forward to slowing down especially that Pitt would be wrapping up his film with Jolie at the end of February of that year. She also expressed her excited to travel with Pitt.
However, according to sources, Pitt immediately changed when he started filming with Angelina Jolie. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Aniston was emotional about the ending of Friends.
She said, it was a wonderful constant in her life and it was painful especially that she doesn’t do great with family splitting up. To make the matter worse, Pitt wasn’t there for her.
