Jennifer Aniston is, reportedly, in a good place in her personal and professional life.
Last week, the actress told Smartless podcast that she almost quit acting two years ago. According to Jennifer Aniston, she wasn’t happy with one of the projects that she took part in.
Luckily, Aniston had a change of heart after she was cast in The Morning Show. And today, she’s still very active in the business.
Jennifer Aniston happier, more open about her life
Aniston’s pal told Star reacted to the actress’s recent revelation during her interview on the podcast.
“Jen’s at a place in her life where she feels she can be honest about things like bad movie experiences and say what she wants. She’s nearly three decades in the biz and thinks she’s earned the right to be herself,” the unnamed friend said.
Jennifer Aniston changed for the better in the last six months
Another source told Us Weekly that Aniston’s honest admission about almost quitting acting surprised even her closest friends. But it also shows that the actress has come out of her shell over the past six months.
“It’s been very cathartic for her. Jen absolutely became a new person this year. She’s really opening up and it’s been exhilarating. She’s happier than she’s ever been,” she source said.
Jen Aniston 2.0
Jennifer Aniston 2.0 is also, allegedly, more open when it comes to her personal life and struggles. In the past, the actress didn’t like sharing details about her traumatic childhood.
“She used to not talk about certain things like her difficult childhood or the trauma she experienced during her divorce,” the source said.
Moving on from Brad Pitt
It, reportedly, took the Friends star years before she was able to move on from Pitt.
“Jen’s belief in therapy and certain spiritual philosophies has altered her attitude considerably. Now, she’s all about being open, honest, and at peace. It’s like a fresh start,” the source said.
Friends of the actress have also noticed that it’s easier for Aniston to bounce back from her setbacks these days.
“It would be unfair to say Jen was caught up in the past before, but she certainly didn’t have the confidence and positivity that she does now. Sure, there’s still some sorrow and regrets over things that have happened, she’s only human. But for the most part, Jen celebrates all aspects of life – the good, the bad, and the ugly – because it all defines who she is and where she’s at today,” the source said.
Jennifer Aniston is also, reportedly, taking herself less seriously and this is why she’s more open to reuniting with Pitt in public.
