Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were allegedly feuding due to their show together.
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have been friends for over a decade already. However, one tabloid claimed that their friendship was over after starring in the same show.
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon feuding
OK! published a report last year claiming that there was friction between Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. The tabloid blamed the alleged feuding to their series on Apple TV.
“Working together so closely has been difficult,” a so-called source alleged.
“They signed on for this thinking it would be a dream job. They’ve always had so much in common and had a blast working together in the past on ‘Friends.’ But the problem is that professionally, they’re too much alike.“
The outlet added that both Aniston and Witherspoon were “used to calling the shots” on set, which “led to a lot of problems.”
Also, the two celebrities had allegedly realized that they had nothing to talk about. Witherspoon spends her vacant time with her kids. Meanwhile, Aniston does yoga or travel when she is free.
Jennifer, Reese falling-out debunked
Gossip Cop debunked the report because, after a year, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are still good friends.
In contrast to the feuding rumor, nothing changed in Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s friendship.
Aniston’s rep also denied the report saying that it was “absolutely false.”
Besides, earlier this year, both were nominated at the Golden Globe nominations for their roles on The Morning Show. Aniston beat Witherspoon but expressed her love for the latter.
“I loved you girl,” Aniston told Reese.
Aniston and Witherspoon’s friendship through the years
Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have a long history of friendship. Even before they starred on The Morning Show, they already appeared on a TV show years ago. Both were co-stars in the hit comedy series Friends.
Aniston played as Rachel Green in the sitcom, and Witherspoon’s character, Jill, was her younger sister. Their friendship has endured throughout the years.
Also, in a previous interview, Witherspoon confessed that Aniston was one of the reasons she took her role in the Apple series.
“I’m excited, ’cause I get to work with Jen every day for a long time,” Witherspoon told Extra.
“She was a big part of why I ended up doing it and we both were really part of getting the project going from the beginning,” she added.
Meanwhile, on Aniston’s part, she considered Witherspoon her loving TV sister.
“Even before Reese played my lovely, albeit somewhat spoiled, sister Jill, she somehow felt like family to me,” Aniston said.
“Reese’s amazing talent, both professionally and personally, has long made her a very strong and welcome presence in my life—and I’m sure in many people’s lives in this room.
