Jennifer Aniston considered quitting acting and revealed the profession she would have taken other than being an actress.
Jennifer Aniston is one of the most celebrated actresses today. But she doesn’t feel like that every day. In fact, there was a project that made her question her choice of profession.
Jennifer Aniston loves designing
Jennifer Aniston spoke with fellow actors Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett on the podcast SmartLess. She admitted that she accepted an “unprepared project” that made her consider quitting acting.
When asked what she would do if she had quit, Aniston revealed the craft she had always loved.
“Interior design, probably,” she answered as quoted by People.
“I love it. It’s my happy place. It’s really a happy place for me.”
Aniston’s response was not surprising because she has been consistent when it comes to her desire to be a designer.
“If I wasn’t an actress, I’d want to be a designer. I love the process,” she told Architectural Digest.
Aniston added that picking out fabrics and finishes feeds her soul.

Aniston put so much effort in designing her home
Jennifer Aniston is into interior designs. In fact, she put so much effort into it when it came to her extravagant home. Aniston worked with designers Stephen Shadley, Kathleen and Tommy Clements and Jane Hallworth to achieve her dream house.
“Every corner you turn, you have an experience,” she told Architectural Digest.
“Everywhere you look, you get a vista. We worked very hard to get that flow right.”
Aniston and Justin Theroux held their secret wedding in her garden.
Jen and Brad have a different sense of style
Just like Jennifer Aniston, her ex-husband Brad Pitt is into designing and building homes. Both love building and renovating houses.
In fact, Pitt started the Make it Right Foundation, an initiative that provides homes for Hurricane Katrina victims. However, the exes have different tastes and styles when it comes to design and architecture.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2005, Aniston looked back at how she and Pitt joked about the furniture at their home. The items looked like pieces from a museum or were just uncomfortable to see.
Aniston said she had her sense of style and so as Pitt. And sometimes, their sense of style clashed. She added that unlike her husband, she wasn’t so much into modern.
That’s probably the reason it took three years for Pitt and Aniston to renovate their home when they were still together. According to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, they replaced the kitchen floor with heated marble and installed a pub and screening room.
