Jennifer Aniston, allegedly, has a secret crush on George Clooney. And when Amal Clooney found out about it, she, allegedly, became upset.
According to National Enquirer, Jennifer Aniston has had a crush on George for years. And she now wants to work with the actor.
However, the Friends star’s attempts to court George for a role in a TV show or a movie with her isn’t sitting well with the actor’s wife.
“Amal went out of her way to avoid spending time with Jen this past summer because, quite frankly, she finds her over-friendly towards her husband. She trusts there’s zero chance of Jen and George actually hooking up, but they have a real cliquey vibe when they hang out. Amal often finds herself on the outside of their Hollywood conversations,” the source said.
Jennifer Aniston wants to work with George Clooney
The tabloid took their dubious claims a step further by saying that Aniston is desperate to work with George. And she has also, allegedly, vowed to go out on a date with the Ocean’s Eleven actor.
“Amal thinks that’s disrespectful. She’s too classy to confront Jen over it but she’s basically freezing Jen out of their social scene, whether George and Jen like it or not,” the source said.
Amal Clooney furious with Jennifer Aniston
However, Jennifer Aniston, allegedly, thinks that Amal is just overreacting. After all, she’s harmless. And her desire to work with George is harmless as well.
“Jen would tell anyone who calls her out that this is a harmless friendship and if Amal’s offended, she needs to get over herself. But the bottom line is, Jen’s not calling the shots here, and it’s hard to see her being invited back into the Clooney circle any time soon,” the source said.
Rumors debunked
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Aniston has not expressed any desire to date George. And The Morning Show star is most likely aware that George is happily married to Amal. And the couple also has children.
By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up this lie about Jennifer Aniston, Amal, and George for clickbait.
