Jennifer Aniston sell-off nude photo from ‘Friends’ for COVID-19 charity


Friends star Jennifer Aniston revealed in her Instagram account that she is auctioning her 1995 nude portrait to raise funds and support a certain COVID-19 charity.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every region of the world. It has caused an unprecedented health threat to humanity. It further affected every aspect of people’s lives as well. Hence, several celebrities are doing their part to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. One of these stars is the Friends actress Jennifer Aniston.

With this at hand, it is unsurprising that many celebrities and fans are looking up to her. Nevertheless, it appears that the actress has offered her devotees more reason to admire her. This is because Anniston has once again shown her golden heart amid the global pandemic.

Jennifer Aniston auctions iconic nude portrait

Jennifer Aniston has decided to team up with Mark Seliger, a famous photographer to benefit COVID-19 charity. Seliger auctioned 25 portraits of various celebrities, including Aniston’s. The actress confirmed this news on her official Instagram account.

Aniston posted a video of Seliger which was taken in November 1995. The clip features the photographer working on the iconic portrait in a seemingly dark room. The video was also accompanied by Aniston’s photo.

The black and white image shows Aniston posing nude with her legs crossed. According to Independent, Seliger captured the portrait after he was assigned to photograph the cast of Friends, which aired its very first episode the year before.

Jennifer Aniston captioned the post:

“My dear friend @markseliger teamed up with @radvocacy and @christiesinc to auction 25 of his portraits – including mine – for COVID-19 relief. 100 per cent of sales proceeds of this portrait will go to @NAFClinics, an organisation which provides free coronavirus testing and care nationwide to the medically underserved. Thank you again to Mark for allowing me to be part of this.”

Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram post raked millions of support

Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram post has gained over 1 million likes. Moreover, it has garnered many positive comments from well-known stars and her loyal followers. Rita Wilson, one of Aniston’s celebrity friends wrote in the comment:

“Beautiful photo! Beautiful babe”.

Jennifer Garner further added:

 “So great, thank you.”

Mark Seliger also revealed his insights about Jennifer. Speaking to Christie’s, he shared:

“The first time I met Jennifer Aniston I knew she was going to be a big star. It was uncanny — you thought you knew her, or at least wished you knew her. She’s incredibly loyal and still as lovely as the first time I met her.”
