Justin Theroux reunited with the actress following Dolly’s death
Aniston is very close to her dogs. In fact, she and her ex-husband, Justin Theroux reunited last year to mourn the death of their dog, Dolly. The exes held a special funeral for the German Shepherd.
“They both loved Dolly like a child. Justin is a dog lover like no other, and [Jen] knew that he would want to know that they were going to lose her. She wanted him to be there and they came together for it. They haven’t had a lot of contact, but this was something that was important to her, and she knew it would be important to Justin,” a source said.
Aniston adopted Dolly in 2006 after her split from Brad Pitt. And she named her after Dolly Parton. During her interview with Oprah Winfrey in The Oprah Winfrey Show, Jennifer Aniston said that she chose to adopt a German Shepherd because they are beautiful and a good guard dog.
