Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow have maintained a close friendship years after they starred in Friends.
This week, Jennifer Aniston showed her support for her former co-star by liking Kudrow’s post on Instagram. The latter congratulated her cousin, Ellen Meister, following the release of her book Love Sold Separately.
Kudrow shared a photo of her cousin’s novel on her social media account.
“This is such a fun breezy read. And @ellenmeister is my cousin! Woohoo,” she wrote.
Jennifer Aniston liked Lisa Kudrow’s post
According to Hello! magazine, Aniston was one of the first people that liked Kudrow’s post.
Aniston and Kudrow previously made headlines in June after they took part in a Q&A for Variety’s YouTube channel. During their video conversation, the co-stars weighed in on the postponement of the upcoming Friends reunion.
“I cannot wait. It’s also strange to think it would have been shot and already aired and it would be a little speck in our memory,” Aniston said.
“What we do know, we can’t say. I think we’re meant to be surprised by some things,” Kudrow added.
Lisa Kudrow hasn’t watched all episodes of ‘Friends’ unlike Jennifer Aniston
While speaking with OK! magazine UK, Kudrow also talked about Friends and her character, Phoebe. The actress admitted that she hasn’t watched all episodes of Friends unlike Jennifer Aniston, who even watches reruns.
“There are some episodes I’ve never seen. And I’m not the only one in the cast for which this is true. Especially later on in the show when we all got really busy. I know it sounds crazy, but one day, I can’t wait to watch Friends,” she said.

Kudrow also admitted that a lot of her fans assume that she’s not smart in person because her character in Friends wasn’t the brightest.
“It’s been great playing a [expletive] person because people talk much more freely when they assume you don’t understand them. It’s like driving kids to school. They think you’re just the back of the head, so they say everything, not knowing that you’re listening to every word. It’s the same when people think you’re [expletive]. I’ve learned a lot,” she said.
Kudrow spent most of her time during the recent lockdown with her son, Julian. The actress said that even if they were always together, they rarely talked about Friends.
“He’s been thrilled about certain things I’ve done, but he’s not a fan of mine and I don’t want him to be. I want him to be my son. He should hold me accountable for parental things. He’s unbelievably great. We lucked out. I try to advise him about girls, then I realize I probably don’t know what I’m talking about,” she said.
Jennifer Aniston also spent most of the lockdown at home. And after it was lifted, she and Cox hung out a couple of times at each other’s homes.
