Jennifer Aniston, allegedly, believes that David Schwimmer was the one that got away.
According to New Idea, Jennifer Aniston is obviously still smitten with her Friends co-star when she spoke about Schwimmer during an interview.
A source claimed that after years of being friends, now may be the perfect time for Aniston and Schwimmer to be together because they are both single.
“Their words say it all – they are clearly each other’s one that got away. And now that they’ve all been thrown back together in such a nostalgic circumstance, with Jen and David both being single and openly reminiscing about their feelings for each other, taking their friendship to the next level is certainly on the cards,” the source said.
Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer regularly hang out, FaceTime
For now, Aniston and Schwimmer have not gotten back together officially. But the tabloid is insisting that they are starting to hang out more frequently.
Whenever the co-stars’ schedules permit, Aniston and Schwimmer, allegedly, bond in person. And when their schedules are a bit tight, they opt to go on FaceTime to catch up.
“If their dates and chats continue to go well, I’m sure David would consider going bicoastal and splitting his time between LA and New York. They made bucketloads of cash from this reunion, so money is really no object,” the source said.
Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer flirted during ‘Friends’ reunion
This isn’t the first time that Jennifer Aniston and Schwimmer were linked to each other.
In May, New Idea also claimed that the A-listers flirted with each other on the set of Friends.
“They found they had a lot more in common now that so much time has passed and could often be found alone together in their trailers catching up. The other cast members couldn’t help but notice this is the first time they’ve both been single at the same time in more than 20 years and perhaps sparks were flying,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
After all, Jennifer Aniston and Schwimmer are nothing more than friends. And they have chemistry because they played the role of a couple in Friends.
