Jennifer Garner, Bradley Cooper dating: ‘Alias’ co-stars had ‘flirty’ beach day

Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper reportedly enjoyed a “flirty beach day” in Malibu Wednesday with Cooper’s 3-year-old daughter Lea De Seine.

TMZ first broke the news of Jennifer Garner and Cooper’s fun beach day as they laughed, chatted, and built sandcastles with Lea. The stars were oblivious to the paparazzi cameras.

A source told Page Six, however, that nothing romantic is going on between Garner and Cooper despite what looked like a picture-perfect family outing. The two have been friends since “forever.” Both stars met in the set of Alias, a spy series that aired from 2001 to 2006.

Both stars are currently single

But Jennifer Garner recently became single following the news of her split with John Miller. The Cali Group CEO started seeing Garner in October 2018, after her divorce from Ben Affleck.

Cooper, on the other hand, ended his four-year relationship with model Irina Shayk in June 2019. They are co-parenting their daughter.

Friends of Garner said that the actress is “happier” as a single woman. Her breakup with Miller didn’t have any drama, and the split happened “a while ago.” The actress is also doing fine despite her broken heart, according to reports.

What Garner says of Cooper

During the 32nd Annual Cinematheque Awards, the actress roasted Cooper and said that she doesn’t see her friend as a “handsome” man despite millions of fans drooling over his good looks.

“My mental image of Bradley Cooper is of an apple-drooling frosted haired boy wonder,” the actress said. “I know the heart and stomach of Bradley Cooper,” she went on. “What’s happening to you now is a pure joy to those who know you, especially to those of us who’ve known you from the start. It turns out you weren’t just handsome all along. You were also a wonder.”

Jennifer Garner has always been vocal about her love for Cooper as a friend. After the Oscars in 2019, the actress had Cooper over at her house with Irina and Lea. She gave the actor a well-deserved treat after his Oscar win.

In 2018, Garner told Entertainment Tonight that she’s very excited for her friend’s directorial debut for the Oscar-winning movie A Star is Born.

“I’m so proud of him. We could’ve told you then that he would do what he’s doing now,” Garner said.

For his birthday in 2019, Garner posted a throwback photo of their time in Alias and wrote in the caption, “I taught him everything he knows.”

Reps of both Jennifer Garner and Cooper won’t comment on the photo of their beach outing.
