Jennifer Lopez is, allegedly, using the coronavirus pandemic as an excuse to delay her wedding to Alex Rodriguez.
According to National Enquirer, Jennifer Lopez and Rodriguez’s wedding is officially off. However, no concrete pieces of evidence can prove that these hearsays are correct as of this writing.
During her previous interview on the Today Show, Lopez said that her wedding to Rodriguez has been postponed indefinitely. The mom of twins said that the nuptials will only push through after the coronavirus pandemic is over because they want to celebrate with their loved ones.
Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez allegedly feuding
However, an unnamed source told the tabloid that the coronavirus pandemic was just a contributing factor to the couple postponing their wedding. But the headline of the tabloid mentioned a contradicting stand when they said that Lopez and Rodriguez’s wedding is off.
“They’ve been bickering a lot behind the scenes. The pandemic was a good excuse to slow things down before they jumped the rails completely,” the unnamed source said, as per National Enquirer.
Alex Rodriguez allegedly dislikes fiancée’s obsession with social media
The insider also claimed that one of the things that Lopez and Rodriguez are fighting about has to do with the former’s obsession with social media.
“Jen is consumed with social media and showing off her body. She’s on TikTok all the time and it’s become an obsession for her that’s driving him crazy,” the source claimed.
According to the source, Rodriguez is just playing it cool in front of the cameras. But behind closed doors, he’s been seething.
“Alex thinks she should act her age. He feels like he’s living with a teenager and not the woman he wanted to marry,” the source said.
Jennifer Lopez talks about her wedding
During her previous interview on the Today Show, Jennifer Lopez said that she’s heartbroken over their decision to cancel their plans indefinitely.
“I’m a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans but I’m also like, you know what? God has a bigger plan so we just have to wait and see. Maybe it’s going to be better. I have to believe that it will be,” she said.
Lopez’s response proves that the actress is not using the coronavirus pandemic as an excuse to not wed Rodriguez. The couple has been together for years. And they are one of the celebrity couples in Hollywood that have a blended family.
Jennifer Lopez has twins with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. Rodriguez, on the other hand, has two daughters with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis.
