Jessie J wished ex-boyfriend Channing Tatum a happy birthday on Instagram, weeks after their second split.
When it comes to staying friendly with ex-boyfriends, Jessie J is the perfect epitome. The 32 year old singer has not let her split from Channing Tatum get in the way of her thoughts when it comes to telling the world about her feelings on his birthday.
Jessie J on her Instagram story
Jessie extended several birthday messages to the Step Up actor via Instagram story, weeks after they ended their romantic relationship for the second time. She posted a photo of Channing floating alone in the middle of the ocean with a caption that says,
“Happy 40th birthday to this special man right here. You are truly one of a kind. I am so grateful you were born, and even more grateful that we met.”
She consequently showed a picture of Channing wearing a motocross outfit with a helmet on his hand. On the photo, he appears to be on the outdoors. The photo comes with a message from Jessie. There she wished for Tatum to keep living his best life.
In addition to that, the singer also posted a short video of Channing in swim trunks and tank top. The clip – which was shot with a retro, film-grain filter – showed the actor jumping from a platform into the idyllic ocean in an unidentified tropical resort.

On October 2018, the actor was spotted with Jessie J in Seattle, Washington, a few months after he broke up with his wife Jenna Dewan. The next month, Tatum showed up with his daughter Everly at one of Jessie’s shows.
That same month, Jessie went to the opening night of the Magic Mike Live in London, which Tatum created and directed.

For the next few months, they kept their relationship private. They rarely posted photo of each other online. On June 2019, Jessie addressed questions about having children with Tatum, and shared photos he took of her.
The following month, she shared some photos of them on her Instagram story, letting the world know about their relationship. Sadly, on November that same year, the couple had broken up after a year of dating.

Why they called it quits for the second time
Just as the new year began, Tatum posted a cute selfie of them on Instagram, confirming the rumors that they got back together. He captioned,
“Gonna watch this unicorn sang tonight. Then we gonna get it in! Horns out!”
However, earlier this month, the pair called it quits again. They cared enough about each other to try again but realized it was better to move on. Reportedly, he had a hard time managing his busy schedule.
He is super busy with his career and as a dad. Hence, the timing was just off for Jessie and Channing’s relationship.
