Jill Duggar bonded with some of her sisters after confirming that she is not on best terms with her family.
Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard left Counting On three years ago. They said they ended up with the decision because they wanted to prioritize their family. Dillard also said that Jim Bob Duggar controlled everything when they were on the show.
Jill and Derick’s decision sparked rumors they were not on good terms with the Duggar family, which they recently confirmed. But the family drama didn’t stop Jill from bonding with some of her sisters.
Jill Duggar bonds with a few of her sisters
Jill Duggar stepped out and reunited with two of her sisters Jessa and Joy-Anna. Jill’s sisters brought their kids during the reunion.
Jill took a selfie with her two siblings and nephews and nieces behind. Jessa smiled in the background with son Spurgeon, 4, son Henry, 3, and daughter, Ivy. Meanwhile, Joy-Anna posed with her son Gideon, 2, and 8-week-old daughter Evelyn.
According to InTouch Weekly, Jill’s youngest son, Samuel, 3, joined them during the outing. Out of the adult Duggar daughters, only Jana and Jinger missed the outing. Jinger probably didn’t make it because she is already living in Los Angeles with her husband Jeremy Vuolo and their daughter, Felicity, 2.

Jill confirmed family drama
Earlier this month, during a YouTube Q&A, one fan asked if there had been some “distancing” between the couple and the Duggar family.
“Yes, there’s been some distancing there,” Jill answered.
“We’re not on the best terms with some of my family.”
Jill didn’t go into details and only said there were some disagreements. She was hopeful that they could reconcile sooner.
Prior to the falling out, Jill’s husband Derick already had a strained relationship with her dad, Jim Bob Duggar.
Derick’s allegations against Jim Bob
In a previous interview, Derick Dillard said they left Counting On to avoid toxic relationships and regain control. Jim Bob allegedly controls everything, including when to speak about their personal milestones.
“We weren’t even allowed to be the first ones to announce our own life events — our marriage, expecting our baby, our genders of our children, our births — not by our own choice,” Derick said.
In the same Q&A, the couple addressed the questions about them leaving Counting On and both said it was the best for their family.
“We left the show because basically, our family goals that we had for ourselves didn’t align with what we found out. We didn’t have as much control over our lives as it related to the show and stuff, as we felt like we needed,” Jill explained.
