John Legend was allegedly blindsided by Chrissy Teigen’s bullying scandal that resurfaced recently, and his friends wanted him to dump his wife, according to a report.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have been married for seven years already. However, one outlet claimed that their marriage is heading south after her bullying scandal came to light.
John Legend allegedly disappointed at wife
Just recently, model Courtney Stodden talked about the bullying she received from celebrities. According to her, among them was Chrissy Teigen, who criticized her heavily and even allegedly advised her to kill herself.
The bullying scandal is destroying Chrissy Teigen’s career and friendship. However, it also damaged her marriage to Legend, a source told In Touch.
The unnamed insider claimed that Legend was not happy with what was happening involving his wife. They have been together since 2007, and the issue allegedly made Legend question himself if he really knows Teigen.
“He’s upset about what’s happening to his wife, and he’s trying to be there for her, but he’s also so disappointed,” the source said.
“This is not the woman he fell in love with and married. And now, John’s friends who never liked Chrissy are pushing him to dump her.”
The report alleged that the scandal brought to light a dark side of Teigen that she had been hiding from her husband. She reportedly only showed one side of her to him, and it was not her dark side, so the recent issue made him feel “blindsided.”
The source went on and mentioned a possible divorce saying there would be $150 million at stake if they decided to end their marriage. The article ended by speculating that the issue would send Teigen over the edge, especially that she had a history of alcohol dependency.
I have tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.

Rumor debunked
Gossip Cop looked into the report and questioned it, especially the $150 million divorce claim. The rumor-debunking site felt that the report was not true, and it was only capitalizing on Chrissy Teigen’s issue.
There is no clue or any hint suggesting that Teigen and John Legend are struggling, let alone that splitting. Gossip Cop also questioned the claim that Teigen is hiding her dark side from her husband. If someone know her better, it would be her husband and not some anonymous insider, the rumor-debunking site added.
Just last week, Legend shared a snap of Teigen with their daughter. In the caption, he said he is proud of their little dancer.
Also, Teigen had already issued a public apology to Stodden on Twitter.
